Tummy Toner - product story

Crepey skin is a drag, alas it is the most common side effect of our gorgeous babies and increasing years. We created Tummy Toner a few years ago having discovered the joys of facial peels. We wondered why we couldn’t use the same facial technology applied to our torso for tighter firmer looking skin.

We worked with our chemists to pull together the right mix of ingredients. We wanted to gently exfoliate the skin as that immediately improves the look and feel and in the longer term it helps speed up your cell regeneration so it keeps looking better. We chose to use Papaya Enzymes as it is very effective but still gentle (so no redness or irritation you find with harsh chemical exfoliants).

Next step, we wanted to make the skin look smoother and plumper – this helps to disguise the crepe and also makes skin appear more youthful. We sourced a very high grade naturally-derived Hyaluronic Acid. This is nature’s most potent moisturiser – binding over 1,000 times its own weight in water to each molecule. Maximum results from the use of Hyaluronic Acids are built up over a period of 6 – 8 weeks.

Finally – as we are all lacking in patience (a virtue we know, but one that has passed us by!) we wanted to see some instant results so we put in Soy Protein Complex which has an instant tensing effect on the skin’s matrix. This lifts and evens out any crepeyness instantly.

So, get a little inventive on where you put this product. You can apply from above boobs to above pubes (poetic, truly) as a little lift, tighten and tone is a fine addition to most bust lines.
