Congratulations! Kit – product story
We aren’t ashamed to admit our gift range was borne out of pure selfishness.
“Oh my goodness, you’re pregnant.” We really wanted to put in a beautifully packaged nutshell everything you want to say when you hear the exciting news whilst giving a truly thoughtful - yet not too personal - gift.
Whilst we were pregnant we were amazed at how far and how fast our skin stretched, itched and reacted to even the silliest of things. So we put together three of our favourites to take the supermama the whole nine yards (and forty weeks) to feeling mentally fit and well with fantastic skin to boot.
Mama Mio Tummy Rub Oil was created for Sian as the answer to increasing skin elasticity and decreasing the likelihood of stretch marks. It is packed full of omega 3, 6 and 9 - the secret ingredients that help build strength and elasticity (so that will also help prevent aging and saggy, baggy, wrinkled skin). It sets to work immediately making your skin feel nourished and super-hydrated. Itchy belly syndrome – very annoying in pregnancy – will also be relieved. The process of rub-rub-rubbing will become a magic ritual in the forthcoming months.
During pregnancy, we were in a permanent state of ‘parched’ so we drank loads of water and moisturised like maniacs with our Super-rich Body Cream. Want to know a secret? Our Moisturising Shower Cream is actually a baby cleanser. We felt that every mama can use a little babying sometimes. That explains why it is so gentle – it won’t strip your skin like a harsh soap. Of course, it is sodium laureth sulfate free, very important to oh-so sensitive mamas-to-be.
